Brand success for the produce that sustains us

Our food growers and makers are vital and we know there are niche businesses out there nurturing unique produce, caring responsibly for the land and enhancing our diets. For growing enterprises, we can take you beyond being a food commodity to capture the essence of place, taste and values-driven practices.

Brand success for the environment and the changemakers

We don’t know exactly who you are but your products or services are making a difference for a sustainable and equitable future. You know what you offer matters to current and future generations but you need help to get noticed, get more traction and get your message clear. We’d love to put you on a stronger footing.

If we haven’t covered your sector above but what you do educates, encourages participation in the arts or supports life enjoyment through quality products or services, let’s talk. We may well be a good fit to help empower your mission.

FAQs

Do all types of business need brand development?

Yes. Strong brands can add value to any enterprise and improve its visibility and success. But different specialists suit different businesses. Big agencies typically work with big household brands and usually aren’t cost effective for small-medium enterprises. LloydGrey specialises in guiding up-and-coming, consumer-facing businesses that want to invest wisely in the next stage of their growth.

Do we need a sector specialist for our brand development?

While the underlying principles of effective brand development are the same across all sectors, it is an added benefit to work with people who ‘get you’ and understand your sector’s challenges and opportunities. LloydGrey specialises in people-oriented enterprises with services or products that connect with human well-being, healthy environments and happier communities.

Would a new name help our brand?

It all depends how well your name is already known, how well it suits your product or service and if it is confused with other similarly named businesses. Each case is different and we can help you decide. A name that is already known and loved can be built on even if it is not the best fit, but starting from low recognition, you might want to explore something that totally aligns with who you are.

Should a new product or service have a separate brand?

Each case is different. If it’s clearly related to the parent brand, it may just need a name; if it’s diversifying or branching into a different area, it may need a separate brand but within a recognisable ‘family of brands’. Let’s talk about the best way to handle this – getting it right will make your life so much easier in the long run.

Our logo and material is looking dated, where do we start?

If your core brand DNA is strong, it is not too hard to ‘evolve’ your visual approach to retain continuity but look more contemporary. If you’ve been living with a bad fit for a long time, it may be a good opportunity to totally review where your brand is at and if it still fits the enterprise you want to be, now and in the future.

“The way you express your brand naturally adapts to different markets. Its underlying essence is the north star and that is where true value and inspiration lie.”
